It's our Ellerslie Awards Raceday! The final raceday at Ellerslie for the 2012/13 season, it gives us an excuse to recognise the superstars that have graced our turf over the past 12 months as well as have some oncourse fun - with an Irish theme!
We will be hosting an Irish themed raceday where we will be creating Auckland's largest Irish Bar featuring live entertainment from an exciting Irish band and Irish dancers, family fun, giveaways and plenty of Irish food and beverages! More exciting announcements coming soon!
We will also be hosting a Mid-Winter Christmas celebration! So why don't you join us with clients, colleagues, family or friends and recapture the festivities of Christmas at Ellerslie! Enjoy exceptional hospitality and tempting festive treats in a beautifully themed room with expansive views of the racecourse for an exciting mid-winter racing experience!

Maori Television is celebrating New Zealand’s young stars with Matariki Magic, a two-hour LIVE spectacular at the Vodafone Pacific Events Centre in Manukau on Saturday 22 June. Hosted by award-winning presenter Matai Smith, the concert will feature ten of the country’s best and brightest young talents across a range of skills as well as performances by some of New Zealand’s top musicians.
Producers have been searching nationwide for talented young people from kindergarten through to high school. They could be inventors, kapa haka experts, rising sports stars and skilled debaters. Perhaps they are a gifted musician, a maths prodigy or an eco-warrior. All of these talents will be showcased at Matariki Magic, an evening of fun for the whole family and a celebration of the diverse range of talents our young people have to offer.
Tune in to Maori Television at 7.30pm on Saturday 22 June and prepare to be inspired.

Description
The railway and club rooms are situated in Centre Park, Robertson Rd, Mangere, Auckland, New Zealand.
The railway is open every Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm, weather permitting.The ticket office closes at 3.30pm.
All fares are $2 per ride or a discount ticket of 12 rides for $20. Party groups are catered for by arrangement, for which a discount may be available. Sorry, no EFTPOS!
The club has a large clubhouse/station named Massey Junction after our late patron Anne Massey, who played a fundamental role in establishing the club at its present site.
The club rooms include a kitchen, toilets, showers, library and display area. There is a large covered area incorporating the station platform, and two separate running tracks which meet at Massey Junction.
Track One is the Spiral Hill track which climbs at a gradient of 1 in 60. This track includes gauges of 3 1/2", 5" and 7 1/4". Its length is 850 metres. A 20 metre tunnel is a feature of this track.
The second track, the Prairie Route, runs 1200 metres around Centre Park and is fairly level with a 60 metre low level viaduct. This track is 5" and 7 1/4" gauge.
